A mass explosion in Lavastorm yesterday claimed the lives of over a dozen beings of Norrath. The explosion is thought to have happened shortly after a group of adventurers from the Truly Naughty Troop engaged a pair of mating dragons in the region. One of the survivers, a knight pretending to be dead near the scene, gave his account of the event. "Well we engaged the dragon and all was well until it started to eat our cleric. Then, out of nowhere, there was this god aweful smell. The dragon took a pace back and lit us up with a breath attack. The last thing I remember, the whole world appeared to burst into flame and so I hid under my favourite rock. The event has scared me emotionally. I will never forget that smell......" Mr Aaddx then fainted and was taken to Neriak temple with minor burns and bruises. He was later released in full health. A Gnome (later identified as Rosi Dukeshammer) was also taken to Neriak temple where she was sacrificed to Innothule. Several bodies were later recovered from the site by Nin Jalooter, including those of a group of travelling wayfarers who had set up camp nearbye. Adventurer corpses were also found near the camp together with that of a young goblin who is thought to have followed them there. However, the elderly cleric, Brother Bellisin Dukeshammer remains missing, now presumed dead. 4th June 2005

Belli returns to Norrath!

I have reactivated EQ1 and have bought the Dragons of Norratrh expansion so that the Dukeshammer family can once again terrorise the planet in partnership.

Truly Naughty Troop have kindly agreed to take me in from the cold and it is great to see so many old friends have also sought refuge there.

Bah! I know, I know. I guess I just miss the social side of EQI which no other game has ever been able to match for me. Only time will tell if I get bored of the game once again.

DH Forum Up!

OK I have finally managed to update and restore the forum. Unfortunately the first backup that worked dated back to March 2005. I apologise to anyone who lost posts.

DH Forum down.

Tegout suggested I update the forum to avoid hackers killing as they did with Twilight Brethren. Who needs hackers? I tried to update the forum and now its dead dead dead.

Why a new Website? Two reasons....

1. I have started playing World of Warcraft and my wife and I needed a website that would cater to the needs of both games.

2. The advent of new games such as WoW and EQ2 have meant that many of our friends have left EQ1 for pastures new. The merging of EQ1 servers also means that our old world, Torv, will cease to be and those remaining in EQ1 will be scattered far and wide in search of new adventures. We therefore feel the need to maintain a place where our chums across the globe can keep in touch.

Why bother?

People dont post very often on the boards so why bother with it I hear you ask. Well, quite simply we are not going anywhere. I own the site, space address and board so its the one place that you can come back to.

The one thing I would therefore ask is that you keep you address up to date so that we dont lose you. That way old freinds can not only post to the boards, they can email you!
